4th Day Honolulu to Dallus

While we are waiting for our flt decided to write up our doings for the day.
The Legends Concert last night was very enjoyable. The tribute artists for Elvis and Michael Jackson were ever so good but we could not quite get what the Lady Gaga character was all about not knowing her music. The show was a very slick production and we had VIP seats thanks to the tour operator who really stuck her nose out for us. We also had a free cocktail which was really yummy. Mine was a Strawberry Daiquiri and Eric had a Lava Flow! The artists were all very sociable and posed for photos afterwards for no fee. We then enjoyed a lovely coffee at one of the places on our way "home"It was a perfect evening for sitting out and enjoying the balmy night air. We walked by the Cheesecake Factory shop about 10.30 and it was packed as usual. They must do a great trade. Unfortunately each time we went by I was not ready to try so we missed out. I did have a look at what was on display though.
Today we had a bit of a sleep in, had Brekky there and then went for a walk through the market stalls and a few minutes in Macy's before it was time to get back, shower and finishing our packing to be out by midday and spent a few hours in lobby waiting for our shuttle to airport.
We mentioned on checkin that we were having to wait some 7 hours in Dallas en route to Nashville so we now can get an earlier flt so that is great.
Apparently there is no free food on flt so we will eat before we board. I did have a lovely big banana to eat here and had it confiscated!!!!!!!!!!
Hope to send some photos of our "friends" Elvis and Michael next time.

  1. hi mum and dad, as of this afternoon we are generating power. The team from Sparkrite did a superb job. You wouldn't know that we have 12 PV panels on the roof. Mum I was sorry to hear about your loss of your prized Banana. How was your flight to Nashville? This Sunday I'll be decorating a large slab cake for Mothers Day and dressing up 600 cakes for international nurses day for Monday, i'll certainly have my skates on.
