5th Day Nashville - continued

Our APT tour still hasn't begun so today we caught a local bus 85cents each way to a large shopping mall called Green Hills situated at Hillsbro. It was about a 15min ride each way. Eric spent time at the Apple store (again) without satisfaction and then walked to an AT & T outlet where he got what he wanted (he thinks). If we added up all the time he has spent trying to work out how to send emails etc we would have accomplished a lot more. It is a pity someone at home didn't think to warn us that Big Pond won't work over here. We have just been given some notes re the tour and it is noted in there - rather late for us. We just spoke to a lady from Melbourne and she was ropable about the lack of pre warning.
After we came back from shopping we walked up and down Broadway and I was amazed at the number of bars and eateries that had a live band playing. Mind you they all seemed pretty good too. There was a young mother and 3 children busking. The mother played guitar, both boys (aged about 8) on trumpets and a girl of about 10 on trombone and they weren't bad either. We are finding the meal portions to be on the large side so there is never room for dessert! We went into the Cheesecake Factory again for a look but didn't feel up to trying it as we had just had some Corn Chowder Soup for lunch. Maybe next time! We saw a sign saying Keith Urban is performing now but I don't think we will bother.
